Filter element for fitting into secondary or main fuel filter. Acrylic beads prevent bunching which can reduce filter efficiency, and maximises filtration surface area. Spiral roving reduces pleat flex and fatigue, maximising the surface area for filtration and increasing contaminant retention. A nylon centre tube prevents metal particles entering the fuel system as contaminants from filter manufacture process. Moulded end caps eliminate possible leak paths seen with glued end caps.
